I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). I completed my undergraduate studies on an athletic scholarship, representing the university as the number one player on the tennis team from 2000 to 2003. I also served as captain of the UALR women’s tennis team from 2000 to 2003 and as assistant coach of the women’s and men’s teams in 2003 and 2004.
After finishing my undergraduate studies in the U.S., in 2005 I returned to my hometown, Mar del Plata, Argentina. I completed a graduate program in Integrated Marketing Communications at Universidad de Belgrano and worked in Marketing and Communications in the healthcare sector.
In 2009, I moved to Spain, where I continued investing in my education. I completed a graduate program at the University of Oviedo and the Diplomatic School of Madrid, earning the title of University Specialist in State and International Protocol and Ceremonial (January 2011 – December 2012). From 2010 to 2013, I was also in charge of communications and event organization for the Sports Service at the University of Navarra (UNAV) in Pamplona, Spain, where I also took part in creating the Center for Olympic Studies and the UNAV “Sports Talent” Program.
In 2013, I decided to return to my country, rejoining the same organization and position I had held before moving to Spain.
My years devoted to sports and education, together with my experiences living in other countries and getting to know different cultures, always with sports and study as guiding principles, inspired me to found GlobalizED, an organization whose main goal is to help more athletes and students shape their future by experiencing what it’s like to live and study abroad.
